One ...We have a few compost piles around the yard. One is the actual composter - that one works pretty well assuming new stuff doesn't continue to get added, then there's the syrup barrel which is usually anaerobic so it gets smelly whenever we turn the compost, and then we have the brush pile which is just what it sounds like. The theory is that once I empty the actual composter of compost, stuff gets moved from the syrup barrel to the real composter and then stuff from the brush pile to the syrup barrel.
